Today my first granddaughter came into the world!!! We welcomed little Miss Astrid Jean Crawford at 8:12 this morning. She is the first daughter of my only child, Heather Crawford and my adorable son-in-law, Ian Crawford. She is in perfect health (thank you God!!!) and is truly a beautiful little thing.
I’ve added a new page that can be accessed through the “Astrid” link up in the navigation line at the top of my pages. I will post all future photos and commentary about Astrid on that page, so visit there often to view updates.

Well, here I am again, at square one. Opened my old page yesterday and had a notice from my virus software that a Trojan was removed. Up to that point, over the last few months, I’d noticed that sometimes the page would abort when I’d try to load it. I knew something spooky was going on. So today I decided to start with a clean slate. I’ve started so many sites over, that it’s not tearing me up this time. I tried importing my old posts and stuff into this upgraded version of WordPress, but I believe the trojan script was somehow in one of those posts. I deleted all but the one post below and got no more notices about trojans. (goody) I wanted to keep that one post for historical purposes, so I can know when I started the site, last time.
Ok, I’m off to search for a new theme to work with. I’m in the mood for something totally different, so we’ll see what I can come up with …
(So much for change. Can’t find any theme that interests me, or that has the ability to change backgrounds, like my old theme, so I’m sticking with it.)
This is the first post made to this site. (It’s actually more of a test post, to see how things look in the site.) There is MUCH to say, but little time to write it all out. I’ve written up a little something in the “About” page to say a bit about the site and I still need to add more to that, as well. For now, just let me type out the official date when this site was started, so we can hopefully, look back on it in several years, and think …. “WOW”. (I have had several sites over the years that I kept for a very long time and they become like children to me over the years. So interesting to watch them grow. ![]()
